Production Mode is an independent, locally-owned slow fashion boutique and atelier. We make most of our clothing and accessories within our boutique- designing, drafting, cutting and sewing in plain sight. We pride ourselves on our textiles- we source vegetable tanned leathers from Chicago’s Horween Tannery, merino wools from Chicago’s The Weaving Mill, silks from Italy, and cottons from Japan. In addition to our ready to wear line, we offer made-to-measure and custom design services. We also carry a curated selection of clothing and gift items made by Chicago’s top designers, jewelers, and artisans.
