The Warehouse Landmark Dedication Block Party

A free celebration to honor the iconic West Loop venue, The Warehouse, widely considered to be the birthplace of house music. The Warehouse Landmark Dedication Block Party will take place on Saturday, October 5, from 12 pm to 5 pm on the 200 block of South Jefferson Street (the honorary Frankie Knuckles Way). The event will be free and open to the public with DJ sets by House music legends, food trucks, and a speaking program featuring civic leaders.

DJs featured at The Warehouse Landmark Dedication Block Party all played prominent roles in the early sound and development of House music, along with Frankie Knuckles.
